Terms and Conditions



Deposit.

A 10% deposit is required of the contract sum.Kitchens have to be paid for in full when they are ordered. Joinery products have to be paid for in full when they are ordered. No refund for kitchens or joinery products once they have been ordered. Refund of deposit if works are cancelled 14 days after deposit has been paid or DB Building Contractors Ltd can not start the works for unforeseen circumstances.

Payments. If duration of contract run's for more than one month there will be a monthly valuation for work completed and materials used. Invoices must be paid within 30 days of date issued.

Materials.

All materials will be bought from reputable builders merchants or as specified on any drawings supplied. All materials used will come with the standards manufacturers guarantee. Any increases in materials from manufacturers or suppliers will be passed on to customer.

Guarantee.

We will guarantee all work for a period of six months from completion date. If any problems occur after the guaranteed periods please contact us and we will try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible for you.

Timescale.

We will give you a estimated start and finish date. Unforeseen weather conditions or additional work is required the finish date will increase. Additional works that are not included in the quotation. A day rates schedule will be provided at the start of the job for any additional work that is verbally agreed on site. All verbally agreed work will be confirmed in writing as soon as possible. Any other additional work will be priced in writing before commencing.

Complaints.

Where we are unable to resolve your complaint using our own complaints process, as a witch trusted trader we used Ombudsman Services Ltd for dispute resolution. In the unlikely event that we cannot remedy your complaint to your satisfaction you may wish to refer your complaint to them.
